• What is Microblading ? Microblading is a relatively new, manual method of tattooing. It is considered to be semi-permanent. It is done using a manual pen made of tiny needles to deposit pigment into the basal layer of the epidermis. Because we are implanting color close to the surface, the results are natural looking, hair-like strokes.

  • Does it hurt? Everyone has a different pain threshold, so this is a difficult question to answer. Most clients feel little discomfort. Some more sensitive clients disagree. We are able to apply a topical anesthetic to make the experience as comfortable as possible.

  • Do I have to come in for the touch up session? The art of Microblading is a process. It is a two step process. The first follow up appointment is necessary to perfect your brows after the initial treatment.

  • How long does it last? The results can last anywhere from 1-3 years depending on different factors. An annual touch up is suggested to make your results stay looking fresh.

  • How do you know what brow shape and pigment tone is right for me? We take into consideration your own natural face shape, hair growth, and bone structure to create a perfectly placed brow. Once we have drawn the shape of your new brows, we will work together to make the shape exactly what you want. We will then consider your skin's natural undertone and your personal preference on color choice to choose the perfect pigment for you.

  •  How long does the procedure take? The procedure will take approximately 3 hours from start to finish. The lengthiest part of the session is perfecting my drawing of your new brows. I will not start the Microblading process until we agree that the drawing is perfect. Plan for plenty of time as it will not be good for either of us to feel rushed.

  • How should I prepare for my Microblading session?

  • Please eat and be well rested before you arrive. Please avoid any type of blood thinning medication one week prior to your appointment. This includes but is not limited; to ibuprofen, aspirin, fish oil supplements, and vitamin E. Do not consume alcohol 24 hours prior to treatment and also avoid too much caffeine. Stop all anti-aging products 1 week prior to treatment. It is highly recommended to avoid intense sun and tanning bed exposure at least 30 days prior and after the procedure. Avoid sunless tanners for at least 1 week before treatment. No Botox or fillers within 2 weeks prior to treatment.

  • What should I expect after my Microblading procedure?

  • Your new brows will go through several phases during the healing cycle. They will appear more vibrant or darker initially. They will fade and soften considerably within 5-7 days.

  • Can I have my brows Microbladed if I am pregnant or breastfeeding?

  • We will not perform Microblading on anyone who is pregnant or breastfeeding.

  • We ask for the consideration of others, anyone under the age of 12 years old not to enter the spa area unless they have an appointment.
